Their website disclaimer is ominous: “INSANITY is an extreme and physically demanding workout. This is NOT for beginners or individuals with any medical condition that may be compromised by extreme cardio and strength exercise. Consult your physician and read the enclosed materials before beginning the program.”

They took the words right out of my mouth! But very responsible of them and I was glad to see it.

The Insanity intro video is one heck of a workout itself. It portrays heaps of plyometrics, calisthenics and the power body moves are suggestive of advanced sports and military training.

The guy who has designed this “Insanity – 60 Day Total Body Program”, Shaun T. is also a dancer and choreographer. That’s cool because I am a real group aerobic spaz so doing these drills with an association of dance is fun. The variation of body movements are fluid and easier to follow than some of those fanatical aerobic video’s out there.

There is 455 minutes of workout time when you add up all ten DVD’s but you aren’t expected to do them all at once.

Also included with the Insanity package is a nutrition plan, plus it comes with access to fitness experts and peer support which you can fully utilize.

Its a lot of work and a lot of fun. You might also consider buying it if you are a coach of a sports team. There are a lot of great ideas in there so click here for more on Insanity workout review.
