Hi, Cynthia Carpenter for FitTVo.com
I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself, and the question you are probably asking: “Who is Cynthia Carpenter?”
Well, I’m a fairly normal 49 year old woman, who one day caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and was disgusted at what I saw!
First problem was the saggy flesh under my arm, waving back and forth like a half filled water balloon
Second, I had one eye closed like a pirate to keep the smoke out of my eye that was billowing out of the end of the lit cigarette I had hanging out of my mouth.
That day I decided NO MORE and committed to make some serious changes!
I decided to hire a personal trainer at the local gym. He was an okay guy but I didn’t learn much. I had once been in the Army so I was familiar with some training ideals.
So then I bought TONS of books and tapes for the VCR. I bought some home gym equipment and little by little I learned a little more to the point it became a bit of an obsession.
After lots of failures (and I mean lots of failures) I finally quit smoking and got into great shape, but I didn’t do it alone. I eventually did find a great trainer and she inspired to become a trainer myself at AGE 43!.
I studied to become a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer, a Nutritionist, and a Health and Wellness Coach.
A couple of years ago, I also had decided to try my hand at entering a bodybuilding competition.
Being a trainer I already knew how to workout but still hired a body builder to train me. I learned so much from her and began to study even more on the theories of muscle development and I put what I was learning into practice
Then there was the diet! Have you ever noticed that bodybuilder kind of looks like a skinned rabbit? How in the name of fitness does a person strip off that much fat?
I am a huge opponent to any type of drug – I won’t even take vitamins, so the challenge was on. How do I get totally ripped without drugs?
I looked everywhere and found a few hints but no real procedures for safe, natural, weight loss. So… I wrote the procedure. As a nutritionist I took great pains to ensure I had a healthy diet every day that balanced my vitamins and nutrients. Every week I stripped away the fat until the day of the competition and guess what?
My first ever bodybuilding competition I came in FIRST in my weight class and second in the overall Masters competition. Total weight loss – 40 POUNDS!
How did I do it? Check out my 7 day diet.
I impressed my trainer so much, the following year she followed my diet advice and she came in first too. She finally placed over another competitor she had been trying to beat for four years. With this win she now qualified to compete at the National level.
Why Should You Believe That I Can Help You?
As you already know quite well, there are tons of people with fitness advice, running around trying to convince you that they have all the answers.
Well, unfortunately for you, I don’t have ALL the answers.
But I do believe that I have SOME of the answers (and I think the answers I have are pretty good and pretty important).
I am definitely NOT saying you have to be a bodybuilder to lose weight; what I am saying is the concept is the same and I have a good strong grasp of that concept.
When I review any diet I am looking for a healthy nutritious meal plan that addresses your wellbeing before anything else. You can eat well and healthily and still lose weight without pills or supplements.
I have vowed to do something of service for someone each day. Through this site I am in a position to help people experience life as they truly deserve it just by sharing a little bit of my knowledge with you.
As a member of FitTVo.com you’ll get:

Now, this site isn’t completely philanthropic. If you do decide to purchase a product that I am advertising on the site then I get a percentage of the sale (if you buy from the link on my web page). Same way it works in a department store.
